Dr. Gibran Ramos — Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist. Dr. Ramos is an incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, thoughtful, and astute medical provider. In my opinion, he is an exemplar of what a family doctor should be. He has a depth of knowledge, a kind demeanor, and truly wants the best for his patients.
Cascade Psychedelic Medicine — Physician-Led Psychedelic Medicine Services. Dr. Seth Mehr is a 20-year veteran of emergency departments who transitioned to opening his own clinic to provide legal psychedelic therapy. Dr. Mehr is a truly stand-up guy who carries tremendous knowledge, professionalism, and care.
Evolved Mushrooms — High-potency, organic medicinal mushroom tinctures, sourced from local ingredients. Jonathan is a genius of mycology and herbalism. I’ve been utilizing his products for years and have seen the benefits.
Grounded Hearts Doula Services —
MoveCo — Weekly movement class focused on building strength, mobility, coordination, and confidence. My friend Nico started these classes, which help people develop new degrees of mobility, proprioception, fluidity, and flexibility in a fun and unintimidating group setting.
Portland Integration Network — A network of professionals offering holistic, specialized care for psychedelic education, treatment, harm reduction, and integration.

Fernhill Ecstatic Dance — Weekly community-driven ecstatic dance (improvised, nonverbal dancing for catharsis).

Working Class Acupuncture — Sliding scale acupuncture center featuring treatment appointments with no time limits. This is one business on this list where I don’t personally know the owners; however, their unique model of finding a way to make acupuncture affordable is something I’d like to promote. I’ve taken some good needled-up naps in their recliner chairs.
